Junior Stage 1 - 4

A great way to introduce sailing to children. The 4 stages will take children from beginners to introduction to racing levels.

This is a 6 half day sailing course. The booking calendar shows the first day only. See below for all dates.

To be accepted onto the Junior Stage 3 Course, your child needs to be aged between 7-11 years old, have completed Stage 2, be able to swim and have confidence in the water. All participants must wear buoyancy aids and helmets which will be provided.
On Stage 3 students will practice more skills whilst sailing solo with the objective of becoming an independent sailor in light winds.

Instructions

Bookings for students under 18yrs of age must be booked by their own parent/guardian. Parents should not make a booking on behalf of other children.

Places are allocated on a first come first served basis. All applicants must complete the online booking. Applicants who are not ABC members shall pay by bank transfer within 3 days to complete their booking. ABC reserve the right to cancel the course due to insufficient applicant 7 days prior the activity starts.For afternoon courses, please meet around 12:50pm at the main clubhouse outdoor playground. Pick up is at 5pm.

Cancellation or modification of course 
If you cancel your booking more than one month before the first scheduled day of the course then 50% of course fee will be refunded. There will be no refund if you cancel within one month of the start of the course. We reserve the right to modify or cancel a course if there are insufficient students or if we feel that there are unmanageable and unacceptable risks to you, our staff or any third party. You will receive a full refund in the event of such a cancellation by the Club. Courses cancelled by the Club due to inclement weather will be rescheduled or refunded at the discretion of the Club.
