Community Support
Aberdeen Boat Club is proud to work closely with local charities and community partners to support individuals and families in need. Over the past years, the Club has contributed resources through donations and direct support, helping to make a meaningful impact across the community.
Summary of Community Contributions over the past two years
- Hot Meals: Served to over 360 families
- Toys: 90 pieces donated to children
- Books: Approximately 200 books donated
- Dry Food: Supported around 200 families
Community Partners
Foodlink Foundation
Foodlink Foundation is our primary community partner and acts as our direct point of contact. They coordinate the distribution of the donations listed above on behalf of Aberdeen Boat Club.
In addition, the Club supports Foodlink through biweekly donations of surplus food collected from our Sunday buffet. This helps to reduce food waste while also providing support to families in need.
J Life Foundation Limited
J Life Foundation Limited is a supporting community partner that helps distribute donated items to families and individuals in need.
Little Sisters of the Poor
Each year on Christmas Day (25 December), Aberdeen Boat Club prepares and provides a special meal for the elderly residents of Little Sisters of the Poor to enjoy..
