The Gym
Gym beside squash court offers latest self-supervised cardio, strength machines, running machines, cross trainers,plus stability balls, discs, foam rollers.
Squash Court
The Club has a squash court which is free for members to book, via the Reception.
Snooker
On the third floor of the Clubhouse is the ‘Billiard Room’. The table is full-size and fully equipped with all the required cues and rests. It has different sets of balls for playing Snooker, Billiards and Pool. There are tables and seats available spectators.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is next to The Galley and is ideal for family fun and relaxation, featuring a large pool, a paddling pool, and a baby paddling pool. It is heated during the cooler months.
Children Playground
The club has an outdoor playground featuring a pirate ship, set right between the two buildings in the main clubhouse.
Function Rooms
The two function rooms (The Bridge Room and The Harbour Room) are located on the thrid floor of the main clubhouse. Both rooms offer stunning views of the harbour, making them ideal for meetings, confrerences, private functions, or parties.
Parking
Indoor and outdoor parking spaces are available for members. To park on club premises, members must display a valid parking label.

Watersports Centre
Watersports Centre offers sailing courses, powerboat training, pleasure vessel operator certifications, plus kayak, stand-up paddleboard, and dinghy rentals.
Middle Island and The Sunset
The Middle Island Clubhouse is the perfect spot for pre and post race socialising or simply hanging out with the children. Whether you hire a dinghy or kayak, help your little ones fish, paddle in the clean water or just sit in the shade and enjoy the view, it’s one of the quietest and most relaxing spots to be found so close to the city.
WELCOME TO THE CLUB
The Aberdeen Boat Club was founded in 1967 by like-minded yachting enthusiasts and sports fishermen who wished to enjoy access to the seas off the southern side of Hong Kong Island. The Club was initially housed in relatively humble premises, and incorporated as the Aberdeen Boat Club Ltd. in 1967. The club moved into its current purpose-built premises in 1979/80 and has since become one of Hong Kong’s favourite recreational boating and sailing clubs.

Nissen hut acquired and converted into the first clubhouse.

The inaugural Four Peaks Race took place.
Invicta, the Club’s workboat, arrived from the UK.
1989 – 97
Government approval marked a new era for Middle Island.
Reclamation and expansion shaped the facilities we know today.

Youth sailing team established; Southside Dinghy Regatta established 2009
